I thought I had already introduced myself but as I can't find my post I think I must be mistaken.

I have just started and know absolutely nothing about the hobby. I have now downloaded "Stellarium" so I have an idea of where things are in the sky.

I'm looking to upgrade my £20 Gumtree jobby "Jessops 76700 as I think it's best purpose is an ornament (though it may be just me not being able to use it).

I look forward to talking to you all, even though i'm going to be just asking for advice in the near future but hopefully in time I should be able to contribute myself.
