Heya,

I woke up to pleasantly decent seeing and clear skies this morning. I started imaging AR2733 as it was rounding the limb around 9:30am with the sun at 23 degrees approximately. I imaged both in 656.28nm & 395nm (white light, UV continuum A) to see the difference at this wonderful angle on the limb with a 150mm aperture.

Thanks all, ?

i'm curious, you're using a Quark plus a PST etalon, i'm guessing the PST etalon makes it a double stack? otherwise with just a Quark it wouldn't be correct?

Yes, I've been experimenting with using my Quark (first in the train) followed by a PST etalon (with the collimating lenses removed, so just the bare etalon). The challenge is tuning them both to the same frequency. The PST etalon narrows the skirt of the transmission profile that helps remove the double limb and other continuum leaking sources. So in effect it is a double stack. It's not perfect, but it is working and didn't require super expensive equipment.
