Mob views in Skye

That's got to be the ultimate in an observing night. Aurora, then a sumptuous feast of celestial targets. And I am beginning to wonder if going on holiday to a dark place enables you to really focus on some quality time with the telescope and make the most of the time you have.

At home, light pollution, tiredness, household obligations and having to get up early the next day for work can really get in the way.

Well if missing a couple of weekends at Elan to concentrate on a week on Skye I'm afraid it has to be done...already got next years pencilled in!
