Asterbridge
Good morning all, So the telescope has arrived and it all seems to work apart from the fact that since Monday it's been cloudy. I'm sure that I saw a cloud coverage website, for the UK, but I can't find it for love nor money now. Have I imagined this? Michael.
PeterCPC
Under the resources tab above you will find Clear Outside - just don't expect it to be correct Peter
Jonk
Ventusky appears to be very accurate, but they're all much of a muchness and never 100%.
Astro Imp
I find the best results are had by poking my head outside Congratulations on the new scope, spend your time getting to be thoroughly familiar with the scope and make sure the finder is accurately aligned. Good luck and enjoy, any little problems you know where to come.

Zauriel
I've been using clear outside it's pretty accurate but like any form of weather report in this country I'd take it with a pinch of salt and just peer out the window.

RT65CB-SWL
'Clear Outside' for me! ...and I mean the app.
Chefgage
I use a combination of the clear outside app (very detailed) and also XC weather which gives you a percentage of cloud cover. Both sources more than often dont agree but at least it gives you a rough idea.
JOC
I've got the cloud apps and find that they lull me into a false sense of excitement that it might be clear outside. In reality and as noted above, there seems little else better than sticking my nose outside at about 4pm and then again after dinner.
Shibby
Just thought I'd mention "7Timer", since I find the forecast good. If you have android, you can use my app
