Cracking image. The view is holding up really well here. Enthralling views. Glad that I decided to work from home after a bad day yesterday. ??.

Ha only today for me. Very clear and stable (with 3 big showers sending me running for the garden to rescue my gear)....

Lovely images once again.

thanks Peter, I take it the scope performed well mate, ive been meaning to try the quark with old faithfull "ar127l" at f9.5 I think it would make a good difference to the ed80 when the seeings good, I'm a bit worried with only having a 2inch ir/uv cut filter to hand, think it really needs a front mounted ERF. charl.

thanks Niallk, hope the weather improves for you, its too good to miss mate. charl.

Cheers Charl - got a 20min window just before sunset: less than ideal, but the opportunity was eagerly taken ;) Thanks for the heads up

Wow: so much variety of detail in several regions around the disc - I love how the plage areas suddenly tune to be highly visible, and some dark delicate filaments! And lots of prominences with some nice little loops in there.  I need to learn all the lingo to describe it properly :)

I really love this little Lunt 50!
