I have been away for a while so only just had the time to finish processing this one. ED80, SXVF-M25C, 1 hour 53 minutes total exposure with Hutech IDAS LP filter.

That really is one for the mags Steve, It is just superb, and incredible from a 3 inch telescope.

Of course the camera and the pilot had a big say too.

From what I've seen posted using this scope it certainly seems to deliver. I've got my local astro shop to price match FLO @ £234 .

I was leaning toward a WO72, but the extra aperture and higher F/ number of the 80ED had more appeal. It's going to be a jack of all trades for me: - imaging / guiding / rich field / grab & go.

BTW - do you use any field flattening with yours?

Not yet but if the WO 0.8 works with the ED80 (currently researching this!) then when finances allow I would like to get one as the M25C has a large sensor and this exacerbates any edge aberrations.

Just downloaded you image and projected it on the wall about 12x10 feet it look’s a bit too red on my red wallpaper hahaaaaaa.

The projector is great, bit like imax :mrgreen:

Gorgeous image Steve. The M25 has performed wonders. Did you get much edge of field distortion? Can't see a deal here.
