I had both white light and Ha on the go today. The crisp white lights are still my favourite views.

Yes. I wish that I had read the "don't bother" thread before I wasted 90mins exploring the sun earlier! 

It just goes to show how seeing comes and goes. At one stage I had bright blue sky, but the sun was a featureless fuzzy disc. An hour later, bags of detail and nice steady seeing!!

I know what you mean Paul, an hour or two after that image was captured I had stunning views including the little AR over to the west. Couldn't image it though as it was too windy and my mount is wobbly at best.
