Another starscape from down under - this time the Pearl Cluster ...

The Pearl Cluster in constellation Centaurus ( NGC 3766 ) by Mike O'Day ( 500px.com/MikeODay ).

The Pearl Cluster, visible from the Southern Hemisphere, shimmering like a pearl to the naked eye, is an open cluster of mostly young blue stars approximately 5500 light years from Earth.

Very nice images. I think I prefer the first, but it's always nice to see objects from the Southern sky.

Thanks guys - the more I look at them the more I agree with you. I think the first one is more natural looking without the blue being too overwhelming.
