ngc1499 reprocessed

Reprocessed my target from last month, the California nebula.

I posted the stacked but otherwise unprocessed image on the PI forum. Several people worked on it, showing what the possibilities were.

I posted this as WIP before (https://stargazerslounge.com/topic/263484-ngc-1499/#comment-2887646 )

It took a while until I was pleased with star reduction and contrast, but I feel that for a better result I first have to gather more data.

This one:

30 * 3 and 4 min subs @ ISO 1600

Pentax K20D (unmodified) with 135 mm lens

Mount: EQ3-2 GoTo unguided
