Well Hello

Hi all from deepest, darkest, wettest Cornwall.  I've been dipping in and out of SGL and AS for about a year now, finally got my "budget" setup as I want it (I think). Can't wait for a bit of weather improvement (especially around Fri / Sat nights) weekdays are pretty much out for me, due to work and not having a permanent setup is a PITA due to set up times, I have pretty much spent the last 8 months free time learning and doing a lot of DIY to my gear,

I have modded 2 SPC900's, made an EQ5 into a goto (AstroEq with steppers and EQmod) and built a multi purpose power hub that (I think) looks a million dollars.  I have a modest machine shop and love to tinker, my philosophy is why buy if you can make.

I would like to thank all the members whose posts have helped me thus far and hope to make some worthwhile contributions in the future,
