Shame Jupiter was not higher for the GRS last night as seeing was decent for a while. This was taken at 40 degrees alt at 23.23 ut :

Looks similar to what I was getting on the 30th. some good detail. but as you say better could be got if it was higher.

You haven't had any planetary for a while nice return Stuart. Excellent processing

Though I suspect you will fine tune it even more.

Thanks again fellas its been 6 weeks since my last capture so it was good to get some data. I've discovered that the grub screw attaching the electric focus motor to the focus shaft had come loose and was slipping which explains why I was having trouble focussing on this session. Not sure I nailed focus properly on anything.

I know its hard to be sure after the fact. But it does look fairly close, post processing.
