I have always been fascinated by the moon, planets, stars and everything that surrounds them. My fascination was further fueled by the Cosmos series and I decided to take the plunge and get a telescope. I got myself the Celestron Nexstar 4SE, waited three weeks for the skies to clear and finally got the chance to see the moon. It took my breath away! I even got to see Mars - how incredible. It's weird to think that while I have always known they were there, somehow seeing them through my telescope suddenly made them part of my awareness...they were not simply objects in the sky anymore.

The weather is back to being crappy again, so as soon as things clear up, I look forward to seeing more of the universe and being wonderstruck with what is out there.

Looking forward to learning lots and sharing my wonder with everyone here :)
