Oh yes, lovely.  Hope I get a chance to see those new groups before they rotate off the western limb.  The forecast is dire for the next 10 days straight

Just checked back though the SDO's I've saved , 27 days a go there was a very similar grouping there ...

Looking at the very latest SDO image, Steve, that diddy little new spot seems to be near where you thought something might be arriving? If so, you did better than me. There is nothing to see where I thought there might be a newbie

Great images! Very nice close ups! Do you use an 2 inch or 1,25 inch barlow for the full disc image?

It's a 2" Barlow heavily modified to drop the mag to 1.3 x as the Tal 100RS is a 1000mm FL tube and the standard 1.6x/2x is too strong.
