Jupiter 13th March

Went out early to avoid rapidly forming fog.

Seeing was quite stable but had to image at f20 to keep the gain at a reasonable level.

Quite pleased with the result and the first time I had seen the small red spot in the northern hemisphere..

Thanks for looking

Martin

Glad someone managed to get a proper view last night - very nice image Martin, despite the lower transparency.

I did see Jupiter and shot 1152 frames of Lum at F18 - gain 70%, FPS 9-10 and histo somewhere between 20-65%.     Roof shut, powered down and back in before 21:00hrs :)

Thank you for your comments

I captured 5000 frames and stacked 3000 1.5 drizzle in as2 and reduced 80%.

Transparency was poor last night, at 30fps gain was up near max to get 65% on the histogram so a lot more noise than I would like.

Image was taken with a one shot colour dbk21.

That`s a fine image Martin despite the conditions - what`s new unfortunately! - Well detailed. You should be pleased.

                                       Best regards,
