firecature at about 30fps depending on the filter run through pipp then stacked 1000 of the 3000 (hoping the slower rotation and smaller size of Mars makes time less critical than on Jup)of each in AS! wavelets in Astral Image and combined the channels in PS trying not to mess it up with unsharp mask, levels and noise reduction

Make no mistake, this is an excellent image brother!

In fact the only thing I would say is give yourself a full 2 minutes per channel.....even when Mars attains up to 20" you can run for that long...just do the maths....more frames = greater possibilities for the outcomes - but regardless, again, a most excellent image!!!

Thats pretty good for the altitude, bright spot near the centre looks like Olympus Mons possibly?
