Jupiter with Europa on the limb, 25th Feb.

I shot this one on the night of the 25th under fairly steady conditions, seeing was fairly good but patchy. 

I just managed to capture Europa before it was eclipsed by the planet so quite pleased with it really. Hope you like it!

A good effort Barv - but personally speaking I'd like to see it repro'd with a softer touch & less saturation...I think it'd be very nice then!

a very nice image barv, but it has the potential to be a great image! a looks a little pink in colour, definitely worth a re-visit to photoshop, you have a masterpiece in the making!

Well worth a repro on this Harvey as the detail is there. As Darryl says a softer version should improve the image no end. Also a bit of a tweak with the colour and you should end up with a very nice image.

Hmm, I quite like the pinkish image, its a bit different, although it doesn't have the normal look. Images of the moon and sun show them in varying colours, due to views through our atmosphere, and it reminds me of this. Obviously that's not the case with Jupiter but nevertheless it s quite nice on my eye.
