Hi All,

My name is Annie and I live in Western Australia.   I have just taken an interest in astrophotograhy since my first camera purchase, a Nikon d7100 about 4 months ago....so I'm a newbie all round!!!!!!!!!!  EEEEEKKK!!!!  I love the prospect of taking milky way shots and then moving on from there, tho my first investment is an appropriate lens......will pick everyones brains later! :smiley:

I to am getting into astro photography,  I have been using a 50mm prime lens on my Canon with interesting results, But now I have decided to attach my camera to my 6" refractor using it as a prime lens,

Which means building a goto guided system to drive the scope Eeeeeeeks More expense!.

A lot of peps use 200mm lenses for there astro pics!,

Wow, and my head was spinning before haha!!!!     Was going to be getting a 50mm prime soon (great multi use), also looking at Tokina 11-16mm 2.8  decisions decisions :shocked:  I think my husband is starting to regret what he has got himself in for buying me my early chrissy pressie lol :tongue:
