Newbie from Essex

Hello to everyone

I have had an interest in astronomy and all things space from a child when the moon landings were taking place but never really found the time to do anything serious.

I have been observing occasionally with binoculars but have now taken the plunge and bought a secondhand telescope, a Skywatcher 130.

I will likely have loads of questions and need much advice so please bear with me.
