Hello,

I'm new to this forum and new to astronomy!

Last September, for my 40th birthday, I got a SkyWatcher 200P Explorer with an EQ5 mount (after lots of hints), since then I've taken it out quite a few time and seen mainly Jupiter, the moon, the Andromeda Galaxy and in the last couple of months Saturn. All of which has been excellent and I have to say I'm hooked even though I feel as though I don't really know what I'm doing half the time.

I've had a go at some basic astrophotography using a canon 450D attached to the telescope with limited success.

So sorry in advanced If I pester you guys with basic questions.

O
