Returned Astronomer

Hi,

I had a small telescope through my youth from when I was about 11. I let the hobby slide, though I've always been a stragazer and used binoculars.

Now I want to deepen my interest again and hopefully get a decent telescope. I've been to a couple of Astronomy Club sessions and bought myself apair of Ostara Elinor Binoculars. Now just need a clear night!

I've posted in another section about telescope choices. My fundamental criteria is portablity as where I live does suffer light pollution from London and I wil be taking a telescope on holiday to other parts of the country.

Stargazers Lounge looks fantastic and I lok forward to a lot of learning.
