Hi.

I have finally taken the plunge and bought a telescope - yay.

Regretfully, being second hand it came with very little information so I will be posting some questions in the relevant sections and hopefully the good people of the forums might shed some light for me.

I have cruised the web looking at astronomy sites and have settled on joining this one - as it seems the best! = )

Gosh! So many welcomes - thank you.

This is a friendly place indeed, I knew I'd picked the right site. = )

Finally got to use my scope last night and bagged my first planet, Saturn, from about 5 - 7 am this morning which was truly awesome.

Yes I've been up all night!

Ian, with my now clarified 'GSO 90mm f11 Refractor' - thanks to the good people of this site.
