Hello everyone,

The names Mark and I live in Australia. Always had an interest in anything spacey(can probably blame growing up with Star Wars for that) and finally decided to splash out on a telescope. Picked up a Skywatcher 150-750 reflector and quickly found myself looking for a way to capture what I was seeing. A couple of weeks and a whole lotta cash later I had a few more eyepieces and a Canon 650D SLR. Thought this was going to be an inexpensive hobby and yes I now know reflectors aren't the best for astrophotography but I guess that adds to the challenge. I have already picked up some very useful tips on this site so I figured I'd join up. Hope to post my pics in a gallery to. Here a couple that I've cooked up so far.

See you guys around!

Mark
