Hi everyone, my name is Ronnie I am 45 years of age ans ever since being a young boy I have always laid in the fields stairing up at the night sky, wondering what lies amoungst the cosmos. I have read a few astronomy books to get the juices flowing, but nothings quite the same as peering through a telescope. My wife recently brought me a Celestron Nexstar 4Se for Christmas, and when ever I got the chance I set everything up in my garden :), But sometimes its difficult with 6 children and a business to run. I have read many of the topics here on sgl, and pop on a few help me files, like how to set up my psp3 eye toy into a camera for my telescope and does my Nexstar 4se prevent me from seeing the nebulas, as yet I have seen non. I probly have many question to ask on my journey through the night sky and hope you all can help, thank you for reading this.

Welcome to the lounge.

Nice Christmas present you got there.:headbang:

Your Nexstar 4se will permit you to see many of the skies bright nebulae, galaxies and clusters as well as offering some nice planetary views too.

Hi and welcome from me ,there's no rush to see things they not going any where,you will see all the great things out there in time learn you way round and you will find them ,a lot of the great nebula are only photographic but there's a lot out there you can see with a telescope

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, its good to see a fantastic forum for astronomers new and experienced, with a great knowledge in what you love doing. I hope to spend many days chatting with you all :)
