Hi all,

Here's a shot of M31 taken on the morning of the 24th July when the clouds parted... briefly. It's 18 minutes of exposure time using a 76mm f/4 Borg Astrograph and a Canon 20Da camera. The scope and camera were mounted on a GP-DX mount and all exposures were unguided.

Beautiful Pete.

I have M31 on both my pc screens as my desktop background. I think it is the most beautiful galaxy out there. I have yet to see it in my 8" newt, and was disappointed when I tried it a while back in my etx 90.

Nice one Pete.

I think you might see a dark lane or two visually Jon, but M31 need to be imaged to see all it's glory.

Ron. :D
