Hi, I'm in the UK in the Warwickshire area, Was an Airline Pilot but thanks to major surgery for Cancer I have had to retire, so I have nothing but time on my hands now. I have always been interested in Astronomy and have looked through a few scopes belonging to others, but never owned one myself. Well that's about to change, and I thought I would get a bit more serious about this now. I know some stuff but I have a lot to learn still and I'm looking forward to getting into it.

Hi Bob and welcome to the forum. Hope you are on the road to a full recovery and that you can now enjoy a happy retirement doing loads of astronomy. There are many different facets to keep you busy so make sure you ask plenty of questions!
