I did massively warn you about dew up there,one night up there and I lost about 3 hours but I was in the Forrest so should have expected it.I don't think I would do a few nights,one night every now and again up there is enough.

Was clear here early doors and Orion looked awesome,shame I have one of those winter bugs

That's not good Rich... I hope they get it sorted for you otherwise you'll have to use that grit sand you've bought and melt it down to make your own blank!

Leigh we have a meeting on the 20th if you can wait and bring it down then will take literally 5 mins to laser collimate it. I am sure you will have lots of us that will be willing to help

I will try and make that Paul. would be great to get some help with this

Last night was great seeing and then there was Comet love joy and also the Taurids put on a great show.

Me and Kieran had a laugh and got in some great astronomy.Looking forward to this winters sessions and crisp clear nights

I'm having an early night tonight and getting up at 3am gonna go for a spot of comet hunting before work. Comet (Lovejoy) (ISON) (Encke) are all sporting great tails at the moment.

Ditto to getting up early,going to make a start on clusters and nebula in Orion and Gemini area for a couple of hours when the moon goes down then back to bed for some lip before work.that's assuming this bug slows me to stay warm.

Hope the man flu goes quick Rich, and Damian good luck with handset cable doesn't sound healthy. I have a spare cable at home that has the same connections you can have it next time we meet up, not sure if it will work but worth a try. :-)
