I'm from South Northamptonshire. Currently getting back in to astronomy after a 20 year or more break. Currently own only a pair of binocular and Norton's star atlas.

OH had started to get interested via the recent BBC programs. Might have something to do with prof Brian Cox rather than other heavenly bodies, but that encouraged me to show her around the night sky - Orion, Jupiter, andromeda, etc - and that got me hooked again.

Yesterday I ordered 200mm Dobsonian and OH has ordered some books from Amazon. It's now cloudy.
