Hi all, glad to have found this place and looking forward to learning more about the night sky.

I've seen there is an astronomical society that meets at Aston University in Birmingham (UK) but it seems from the website that they don't meet that often - are there any more?

Hi & welcome.

Which side of B'ham are you? On the Black Country side there's Wolverhampton & Walsall Astro Societies. I can't speak for W'ton but Walsall meet weekly & there's a bar! :)

There's also WABCOG a group off here that meets near Cosford to observe when we can.
