  2. The mount it self will be ok the tripod screws will rust put WD 40 on them will slow the rust down and also spray the main bolt for the spreader plate

Hi I got the 2 inch Lacerta wedge after chatting to John , I have 2 x 2 inch filters fitted to the rotation ring UV/IR cut filter and single polarizing filter , I then use a continuum filter on the eyepiece the viewing angle I feel is nice I can sit on a chair and eyepiece is then at a comfortable angle

  10. I also forgot had a long chat with johninderby about IR filter and if removing the locking ring then screwing in another filter so it's a doubled up filter will work
  11. Well fitted new right angle finder scope , the very short window of Sun this morning set up my solar finder and between clouds had a quick look at some Sun spots All cloud now so having a drink of cider and watch a film

  19. Hi i use a telrad and cross hair eyepiece it works well together the eyepiece is only used for alginment

Hi don't cut the bolts I have tried twice and even if you remove a small amount the bolt will be to short to adjust , it's a known problem that anything over 50degs can bend the bolts or they jump under the mount and jam Some of us have the upgrade bolts try and reduce the weight on the mount when you do adjustments to try and stop bolts from bending
  21. You were lucky I got mist and fog just as it was getting dark so could look at nothing , and all cloud today so looks like tonight is a no go too

Hi go into handset there is a brightness for polar scope mine is on number 2 it's in utility section under polar scope led Sorry I don't do imaging like you but can't you do alignment using finder scope if that's zeroed in to the main scope , with mine I use an eyepiece then once on target pop camera in There is an app called synscanlnit2.1 gives you all the info for your hand set and polar position is
