  2. Hi I agree with what's said you don't have the space a nice refractor or Mac will do better a Newtonian and mount won't fit , I think even a refractor may be hard work How strong are the railings could you mount a pier to them

As for eyepieces how about a zoom lens a little heavy but work well i have a celestron 8 to 25 mm zoom so thats 4 in one add a good barlow your have 8 in one When you get the view you like look at were the zoom is then later you can get a single eyepiece that size I had some great WOW moments from my back garden in light pollution sky with the 150/ 750

  6. Hi I had the 150/750 great scope the image will be clear on a night with good seeing and light pollution is not really bad, they will be small your need to change eyepieces at some point if space is tight what about a dob your get a larger scope for your money easy to store too

Hi now the gear is sorted out go into the hand set and clear the PAE and then synchronise the encoders this helps to get the mount to hit its targets , encoders is on page 33 of the manual Once the PAE is clear you can re-teach it go to a star if it's off press esc then press and hold esc it will say centre object use hand set to centre it after press enter it will add this to PAE your find the targets will get closer till they are right

Hi I have the older HEQ5 and polar align day time using polar alignment pro , I use a spare dove tail and mount my phone on the dove tail once I have it aligned I switch to stellariaum then hold my phone up and ask if to show me Polaris once the arrow comes into the screen I re-mount my phone and do a tiny adjustment to make sure the arrow for polaris is straight up . Then at night I check it and it's normally spot on

  12. Same here set up clouds rolled in waited still clouds so packed up clouds cleared set up clouds came back its just like the god of clouds is taking the mick out of me so packed up and refused to look out of the window in case it cleared Merry Christmas every one

Hi me and wookie1965 were chatting about filter for a lunt solar wedge i know i need a continuum filter thats the easy part but when it comes to polarizing filters there are 2 types single and 2 part filters ( i am stuck buying from amazon if i can i have gift cards to use up ) How do use it ??? Do you fit it to the eyepiece and then turn the eyepiece??? or do you have to turn the 2 parts oppersite to each other????

Hi and welcome i had the older 150/750 lovely scope sorry cant on the tape but the shroud will stop stray light getting in I use my phone alot for images and get mixed results your have to do a short exposure as this set up dont track some one will pop up and give you more info i am newish to this as well
  23. Hi just find the big dipper (plough) then use the last 2 stars that make up the side of the bowl these point to polaris
