  1. That's the one! I couldn't remember the name of the app. Interestingly, I only have the option for Sky at Night here. It must be down to what the local council has to offer.
  2. LibrariesNI here have an eMagazine section which allows you to download the latest magazine and keep. Might be worth checking if your local council library offers a similar service.
  3. I can't wait for it to arrive. I'm already crossing days off the calendar even though I don't know when the delivery date is
  4. Great photo and welcome I've always wanted to visit BC, purely for the Horse Riding. Maybe add Astronomy onto that list as well
  5. Well, I clicked the necessary buttons and ordered the SkyWatcher 200P this afternoon. Let the waiting games begin Thanks for the advice everyone
  6. Nice @200pman, I’m guessing that’s a custom setup and not something I could purchase. I think the table is about my limit
  7. Thank you all for the kind replies. I tend to over analyse things so rather than get more confused, I thought it best to ask So thank you. I'll get right on it tonight

  9. Hi John, Sorry to bother, but I don't suppose you could PM me a copy as well please? Thank you.
  10. lol, Yes County Down.
  11. Thank you all for the kind welcome Thank you, I'm originally from Sheffield, but moved here over 15 years ago. I'm a few miles outside of Dromore, so have some lovely dark sky here. Where are you based?
  12. Evening all, Just wanted to say hello from Northern Ireland. I had a basic budget Telescope when I was 10 years old that my parents purchased me for Christmas and I loved searching the night skies (I didn't see much mind, which is why I gave it in all those years ago) Now, 30 years later I want to revisit my stargazing dreams and stumbled across this forum while looking for beginner telescopes. I have a lot of reading to do, but look forward to being part of this community. Have a great evening
