  1. Another addition to my Morpheus collection, just the 14mm to get. And my first TV eyepiece 18.2mm Delite
  2. M81 is such a beautiful galaxy and I love the widefield image.
  3. Great image and thanks for pointing out the Hubble image, it is really spectacular 👍
  4. Wow, amazing detail 👍
  5. Super image Goran, I love the Rice Hat Nebula.
  6. Used mine for the first time tonight on Jupiter and I was well impressed with how it performed.
  7. That's a great image 👍
  8. It's here I'm impressed by the build quality. All I need now is clear skies...................

  11. I have the William Optics ZS61 and it is a lovely scope, my most used scope last year. I used to have the ZS66 but I sold it on and immediately regretted it.
  12. I experienced a similar thing when viewing Jupiter through the cloud on Saturday at our society's observing evening. We all remarked about how much more detail there appeared to be. I thinking maybe the cloud removes some of the glare which prevents seeing the finer detail.
  13. It was lovely and clear when I got home, I had something to eat and just looked out and now there's a layer of high cloud.
  14. I can't remember when I last saw that much green on CO.
  15. Wall to wall cloud here in Derby despite what Metcheck thinks.........
  16. Truly an amazing image Olly. What I really like about it is that it puts everything into perspective, it shows where objects, that we know so well, are in relation to each other and their size. It always amazes me how big some of these objects are.
  17. For many years I didn't have goto so I used to star hop or I'd use the 'point it in roughly the right direction and move the scope about until I find it' method. There was always a feeling of satisfaction finding an object manually, however over the past few years my sessions have been few and far between so I mainly use goto when I do manage to get out.
  18. Great image, as good a rendition as any I can remember seeing of this galaxy 👍
  19. Nice image, great to see this region in widefield 👍
  20. Excellent images Paul and I love all your video journals. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too 🎄
  21. I'm going to miss the newsletters, many thanks Steve and all the best.
