  1. For several years my Takahashi FS 102 was mounted on a Vixen GPDX. What a cracking mount! And the Sky Sensor 2000 worked brilliantly. But I have to say the new Vixen mounts look much more beautiful
  2. What an amazingly neat and compact package! Jeremy
  3. That looks a really smart set-up marcus_z Jeremy
  4. Here's my Celestron C9.25 on William Optics EZ Touch mount.
  5. My first 2-inch eyepiece has been delivered has been delivered: Explore Scientific Maxvision 68 deg, 34 mm to use in my C9.25
  6. Perhaps they help to make good beer, Ian. Definitely time for a star party
  7. Good to see the project coming along, Dreek. Jeremy
  8. Having bought a Vixel NPL 40mm eyepiece earlier this week, I thought I'd better check it wasn't overloading the MightyMak on the NEQ6. Seems to be OK. Jeremy
  9. Congratulations Piero - looks perfect! Jeremy
  10. Interesting project, Steve. I've got one of those domes and have wondered how easy it would be to automate, considering there are no commercially available solutions. Let us know how you get on. Jeremy
  11. I ve got the same model of Omron device. Measure blood pressure every day with it. But these teasers not doing much for it! :-)
  12. Can't say I do, Dreek, but it does look vaguely familiar. Was it obtained locally in Suffolk, or do you know where it came from? Are there any markings/writing on the back of the primary mirror? Sorry I'm a bit late to the party on this one - I missed your earlier postings Intriguing.
  13. Really interesting project, Dreek. D keep us regularly updated! Jeremy
  14. Here's my Omegon MightyMak 60. Small but perfectly formed. On Velbon EX-Macro tripod Jeremy
  15. Good to hear, nightfisher. I'm not sure how long you've had this scope, but you need to use it over a long period to conclude how well it performs. As with most things in life, a telescope is a compromise, but really getting to know how this scope performs under a variety of conditions is essential. I have had months of poor seeing for imaging with my C11 - much worse than normal. Same with my Tak FS102. But persevering allows those really good nights for seeing, transparency, or whatever to emerge. Jeremy
  16. Are those XLs or XW's Mike ? I cant quite read the label. Jeremy
  17. Here's a couple of Taks: FS102 and FS60 Jeremy
  18. Hello Mark, actually I don't use any of these eyepieces with the Lunt 50! I use an Opticstar XL 7.2 to 21.5 mm zoom, which I find to be an excellent performer (better than the Lunt zoom I used for a period) All the best, Jeremy
  19. A case of Pentax XLs and a case of Tak LEs. Jeremy
  20. This is a great result on a difficult target, John. Well done! Jeremy
  21. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your reports, Robert Jeremy
  22. Hello Robert, clearly your design was much better than one of my early roll-off observatories. I used hardboard panels and to make them weatherproof I used layers of exterior grade gloss white paint (kept the weather out, but the hardboard still warped). When I came to dismantle it, I donated the panels to a neighbour's Nov 5 bonfire. It went up like a flame thrower, presumably due to all that paint! Go well! Jeremy
