  1. Lovely shot. I've not had any luck so far with the UV filter. (only 1 outing)
  2. My cable has a break in it somewhere. Gone over to the synscan.
  3. Tak 102 QSI cam 17xHa 1800s 10x O3 x1800s S2x10 x 1800s 20 each rgb x 60 s
  4. I put one of B&Q's finest buckets over the mount head and then the cover. Next home made/sown mount cover I will get the wizard with the sewing machine to try and sow in the bucket.
  5. I have been told "you cannot go out wearing that thing with holes in it" and "you cannot go into the workshop wearing that new shirt" Only to find out I can 🤣🤣🤣
  6. Yep tripod to max height and dust off the solar scope. I will get round to the proms disc as there was a bit going off and there is an AR just left of centre.
  7. Lunt 60mm & Coronado DS with PGR Chameleon cam 151 frames stacked in AS3 prodded and poked with IMPPG and PS clicking might get the full res mage Quot
  8. I have a load of data on M33 from last year and I tried several attempts at processing it and the last one I made a right mess of the stars and never noticed till I posted it . I find it is easy to loose sight of the whole image while trying to pull out or contain a certain portion of the image. I must go back and do something with it.
  9. Hi Dave looks to have grest detail but maybe the black point is a bit clipped as the background looks very black and you may have lost a bit of the outer arms.
  10. C11 IR807 filter 10% of 20000 frames
  11. Well it was much brighter without the powermate, but it was still a mess of an image.
  12. Lunt 60mm & Coronado DS with PGR Chameleon cam 500ish frames stacked in AS3 prodded and poked with IMPPG and PS clicking might get the full res mage
  13. I have a Moonlite on the 8"SCT but the MHP would not connect today so no motor focus. If i have chance tomorrow I will try with and without the x2.5 powermate if I don't get enough light with the UV I can use the C11 but it is a lot more of a challenge to get it on and off the mount.
  14. Shows the phase very well. I am also struggling with focus. My first outing with the UV resulted in nothing as the cloud came just abpout the same time I got Venus on the camera chip.
  15. I have a done a couple fully in APP except noise reduction, but normally stack and align in APP and its over to PS.
  16. I copied it from my Astrobin page not realising it carried that much info 😃😃

  19. Thanks. Try moving the tripod to the roof 🤣🤣
  20. Not bad seeing today Lunt 60mm & Coronado DS with PGR Chameleon cam 500ish frames stacked in AS3 prodded and poked with IMPPG and PS clicking might get the full res mage
  21. Good catch. Sun put in an appearance here, but "we" had a hospital appointment.
  22. You of course have to be very careful doing this while the sun is above the horizon,. I have a fixed setup so I can use goto but even so I always check the sun is not in the FOV while doing this using a solar filter and a the camera. NO HUNTING BE VERY CAREFUL. another trick is to use a wall to block the sun I managed this run in March 2017. FS 102 and Blacfly cam And this in 2018 WO 132 and Chameleon cam This year I would like to get venus over a longer period of time and with more f/l. I also have another filter on the way.
