Another day of tweaking the kit to try and get rid of the uneven llumination and the NR's, this time using flat fields. Jury is still out on this, the image seems more even but the sharpeness of focus seems to be off a bit. 60mm Lunt with Coronado Rich Tuner, Chameleon cam Stacked in AS3 shapened in imppg and prodded and poked in PS proms 16-25 proms 15-30

200mm RC and chameleon cam I did 30 sers in a batch of 5 for each filter of about 20k frames and stacked 45%. I then stacked these 30 tiffs into IR and UV and a IR/UV for the green.

13 x300 ea RGB with the QSI and Toscano RC give it a click or 3 for full res

I went back to this and added a couple more nights of data and reprocessed from scratch. 200mm Toscano RC reduced withQSI cam 40 x L x 600secs 18x B x 600secs 17 x G x 600secs 17 x R x 600 secs

4 ea 600secs LRGB 2x2 binned with RC and QSI cam Background a bit dark due to lack of data/noise.

Lunt 60mm d/s chameleon cam

10 each LRGB x 600 secs Toscano RC reduced

Images not as good as thought they might be today. Must not fiddle with the tilter.

Sorry its a bit yellow Not happy with the FD from today as yet. A click or 3 might be needed..

That was the one I was thinking of yes. It is a long time since I used my SS2K but I seem to remember having a similar issue.

I would re install the plugin for it .

A night without Mr B gave better data, though clouds did spoil some subs. Fresh data with the RC L 8x600 R 6x600 G 4x600 B 7x600

Just a thought , what is the length of the bolt on the other side? Is it worth swapping them over.

4 x 600 each LRGB binned 2 x 2 with the Toscano RC. Not great by any stretch of the imagination but i reckon I have sussed out why I was getting odd shaped stars. I adjusted the wires to the secondary mirror the other day. One to revisit under better conditons and less devils lightbulb.
