Just the one. Can be displayed upright or on itβs side. Simple little build though compared to this. π

First episode was pretty good and sets up a lot of interesting plot lines. Looking forward to the return of Seven of Nine and then thers Mr & Mrs Riker (Will Riker and Deanna Troi).

Good heavens. Comfortable viewing angles?!

How about getting a Telrad and the optional dew shield with right angle mirror which lets you use it as a right angle finder? https://www.firstlightoptics.com/finders/dew-shield-for-telrad-finder.html -

I wouldnβt like to use a probably unstable stepladder. What he needs is a cherry picker for comfortable observing. π -
Interesting thread. Whether you call it a 'heuristic maxim,' or a rule of thumb it is just the most likely expanation that may aid you in reaching a conclusion but could also lead you astray.

Barn door tracker

If shipped by a courier they will put it through customs, deliver the item and then send you a bill for the taxes, duties and handling fees which usually works oit to about 25% in total. If coming by mail most packages except for low value declared items go through customs and they will send you a bill for the taxes, duties and handling which has to be paid before they will deliver it. Again about 25% total. Some shippers, particularily Chinese, will mark packages as low value to escape customs or under declare the value..Of course the potential problem with under declaring the value is if the item is lost or damaged thatβs the amount insurance will pay out. They have tightened things up lately though as in the past many items sent by mail wouldnβt get processed by customs and would escape fees -

I have owned a C6 and Skymax150 mak and did a head to head with them. Result pretty well a tie. The C6 has about as much contrast as the mak.The big advantage though was the C6 was so much lighter and so could be used on a lighter mount. Also the C6 cooled down a bit faster. Bit wider fov too. The C6 just hits that sweet spot between performance and weight. Great choice for a grabβnβgo setup. Like it a lot but a bit overpriced new.

So it looks like it will only work with the Rowan saddle then unless mods are made to another brand of saddle.

That brings up another standards, or lack of, issue. Why does it seem that every eyiepiece manufacturer uses a different size / thread on the eyepiece barrels so you usually can't swap them? π€

Most of the cheap ones are indeed rubbish but the one I linked to is really good and most importantly works. π -

Had a couple of the expensive ones but wasnβt that impressed. The cheap replacement was so much easier to adjust and just plain worked better. -

The same smartphone holder can be picked up much cheaper on eBay if you donβt mind waiting a couple of weeks for it to arrive from China. -

Best thing you can do is get a smartphone adapter like this. Makes it so much easier to take photos as you are not messing about trying to align the phone with the eyepiece. I like this particular type as Iβve tried a few and find this the easiest to set up. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gosky-Binocular-Spotting-Smartphone-Adapter/dp/B075N8J438/ref=sr_1_22?keywords=smartphone+telescope+adapter&qid=1579774671&sr=8-22 Couple of smartphone shots just using standard settings.and setting focus to infinity. -
