Clouds were about 50% in attendance but still managed to record a few avi's on Saturday afternoon.

The videos were about 30 sec each with 10% stacked in AS2. Decon in IMPPG and colour/curves  added in photoshop

This is the first time I'd used a focal reducer, a Meade .63 which needed a couple of adaptors making

to couple it all up securely.  The wider fov was nice but still relatively 'close up'.

Thank you for the comments.

@David  The connector is a tilt adaptor I've made to prevent newton rings on the ASI120mm.  The angle is set at about 6 degrees and

completely eliminated the rings. I am planning to reduce the angle to see at what point the rings appear again.

Since the tilt moves the camera off axis the adaptor is made with an opposite offset to put the chip back on to on the optical centre line.

The offset is only a millimetre or so, but I did it any way !  I still have some laying to do to get it just right and make a better job of the light proofing !

@Dazzza  The scope is a 80 TMB 600mm focal length with a Baader D-ERF mounted up front. This allows the reducer to go in front of the Quark.

The mount is a HEQ5

Cheers, Dave.
