Hi Everyone

I have been promising myself a telescope when I retire, not retired yet but bought the scope anyway. I am now the proud owner of a Skywatcher Explorer 150P on an EQ3-2 mount, bought from a Stargazers Lounge member.

Set it up !!! Last weekend and got some great views of the full moon.

I have bought Turn Left at Orion and down loaded Stellarium, both seem to be great products which i'm sure together with Stargazers lounge, will help me progress in the hobby.

Meetings start at 8.00pm and are held at St. George and St. Teresa RC Church Hall, 337 Station Road, Dorridge, SOLIHULL, B93 8EZ.

£3 visitor donation which includes refreshments of the tea/coffee/bicsuit/free sky-notes variety.

You've arrived just at the right time; next week our speaker is Tom Boles, who holds the world record for SuperNova detection. I was at a talk of his last year - excellent.
