One can still be amazed and smile under an orangey sky...

dear fellow Stargazers,

I thought I stopped by and introduced myself as I have been spying on you for few hours and it seems like a nice place to be :)

So here we go, I am a French expat living under the lovely orangey London sky!

I do not own any hard core stargazing gear... just a pair of eyes, a cheap tripod and a camera!

I have always been fascinated by the sky (little less since I live in a big city) and when the ISS/Discovery passed over London at a decent time a couple of weeks ago, I finally took the plunge; I pointed my camera upward and shot! I fell in love!

So yes, I will probably be sticking around, listening/reading, being amazed by your pictures and experiences. I will probably remain silent though as I have no experience whatsoever and I am mostly here to learn!

Hi Celine ad welcome to SGL :)

Feel free to put your picture of the ISS on the forum - would be nice to see how you did. :(

I haven't found the proper section where to post them yet!
