M42 with core, M43 and the Running man

I got the core added in, although I still had some issues with aligning it... anyway...

Personally, I'd like to add at least another 20 to 25 frames, at 10 minutes each, as I think there's hints of the clouds around the nebula beginning to show through, and it'ld be goodto see if I could pull that out.

Having said that, I'm very pleased with how this has turned out.

Forgive me for asking this 'cos I don't know nuthin yet', but looking at the image blown up in PS, there is quite a bit of redness around M42 (outside the bluish clouds) - is this part of the nebula, and something I should be aiming to get at my next attempt?

Samir, no the 450d hasn't been modded

David, I think there is, and I think it's the real faint dustiness around the main nebula, I've seen it in other images. I don't have enough exposure in the frames that make this one up, so I didn't try with it. I do want to add a bunch of 10 minute subs if I can to try and pull the dust out to.
