Farnborough. I didn't know about the event until just now when I found this forum whilst searching for a LUG-style mailing list for astronomy.

Just got a telescope for Christmas, so I'm relatively new as well.

Farnham. I also did not know about the Farnham event, I might make it.

Definitely recommend Hants Astro - very active group, great dark sites (though every time I turn up they are cloudy - so best check that I am not there before you go ;0 )

Must admit i hadn't given it any thought until just now. Then again to be honest I hadn't heard of em.

I will check em out cheers. I have just joined with the Surrey mob but like you haven't had a chance to observe with em (poxy cloud).
