Breakintheclouds
Two things come to mind for 101010. In binary, it's 42, so a good day for some Douglas Adams. And on the computer front, the latest version of Ubuntu is released today so a good time to upgrade. What, you don't all run Ubuntu? Just me? Oh. martin_h
I'd be happy just to see a clear sky!
brianb
101010. In binary, it's 42Yeah, that was my thought, too. A good day to look for the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything.the latest version of Ubuntu is released today so a good time to upgrade.I've lost track of Ubuntu versions ... is this Lousy Llama, Minging Mongoose or Nutty Narwahl?Seriously, though, other versions of linux are available, and I honestly doubt the sanity of anyone who installs any computer software within three months of its official release date. Give it time to "mature" ... or, at any rate, lose some of the more catastrophic bugs.
Breakintheclouds
Actually, I've been running the latest Ubuntu version for the past couple of weeks and have found no bugs at all. I'd agree, in general, it's best to let software settle down, but in this case my experience has been all good. WHich is nice.

Photosbykev
M42 would be nice, it appears to be a good sized target for the Canon 7D and 600mm lens. It would be a cracking first light for the new system but it will have to be on the 11th as it is only just visible at midnight tonight.
jgs001
If it's clear, and the past few days would tend to deny that... then I was gonna have a go at 103p Hartley-
