Hi, i'm very new to astronomy. I've been observing since the anouncement that jupiter will no be as close as it was in 22 years which was about a week ago.lol i don't have a telescope or anything. i just have a 10x25 pair of binoculars which isn't enough to see jupiter's satellites. i'm mainly joining a forum to see other peoples pictures and to learn more about astronomy

H Spaceless and welcome to the forum. Even with a small pair of binos you should still be able to make out the moons of Jupiter, not necessarily in any great detail but they can be seen. Binos are an important tool in learning the sky, they have been for me, easy to set up and use etc and the Orion nebula can be seen with them as well as the moon of course.

Clear skies and keep up the observing!

James
