Hello from Southampton, UK

Hello, I was directed to this forum by a nice chap called Paul from the Narrowband imaging Yahoo group

I've been out of the habit of imaging for the last few years, but have recently being making some efforts to become more active.

I mainly image in narrowband, usually hydrogen alpha using an Artemis 285 camera and rather simple equipment. I strongly believe in building as much kit as possible myself and finding practical solutions to issues. I hate the tendency of many amatuer astronomers to simply throw money at problems and wonder why it doesn't fix them!

Some of the forums have been extremely quiet of late, so I thought I would come and see whats going on over here!
