Lovely image...I love galaxies..what are the best ones down south that I cannot see from the UK..Any images?

Mark, I have a couple in my album that are not far from the image in this thread. There's some fantastic galaxy in the northern hemisphere though like M51, M74 and IC342 (very very faint though) and of course M31. There's also a whole stack of them around Ursa Major and Coma Berenices that I can't see from place.

I haven't really had a good look around the galaxies in the soouth yet as the big nebula are well placed at the moment. Here's the link to my SGL album:

Thanks Iain and Kevin,

I would have loved to make it to the SSP and it was certainly a highlight of my time in the UK going to two of them. I hope you had a great time there.:)
