My first official Astro photo!

This is my first astro pic with my brand new 1000D - I have a lot to learn as you can see!! The Moon and Venus in the bit of the sky that I can't reach from the Obsy!!

Taken with my SLR @ 300mm. Cropped. In the absence of a telescope it's the best I can do!
