Hey, amazing job!!! So glad what I posted a while ago has helped you 😄 It looks brilliant and definitely a game changer for imaging and observing alike.  Reading through your build thread bought back some happy memories.

Thanks again for sharing your build! I can’t wait to get totally finished and then start moving my kit in. Hopefully just in time for the upcoming winter season!

Todays progress on the LLO (loony Luna observatory-after my pooch)

We have a door! Plus bolts, handles and some more insulation inside. Ready for painting tomorrow then electric and data cable installation on the 9th November!

also waiting on my sign to arrive 😁

Looks great, well done…👏🏻

what are you painting it with, as that is tantalised pressure treated wood and will last 20 years as is, does not need any paint, but if you must, make sure you use a water based  one that will soak in Rather then coat the surface, as when the wood moves, during the seasons it will split and flake off and look awful

I just used a clear water based wood preserver on mine, and it was not even treated wood like yours..it can be sprayed in with a pump sprayer..

Good to know Stuart thank you , we’re painting it with Cuprinol garden shades which is water based thankfully (more to keep the other half happy really !) 😁
