Hi all, Thanks for the great welcome. I used to own a Meade ETX 70at which i recently sold to a friend. It introduced me to the stars, and now i've been bitten by the bug. So i took the plunge last dec and purchased a Meade 8" LXD75 UHTC+ Autostar. Unfortunately i am still waiting for delivery ;) I know Meade have moved headquarters recently and they have moved production to Mexico. So i rekon my timing was poor, however i remain positive.

ps thats a long wait for the scope to be delivered is that a normal wait.

I have plenty of lemsip and tissues at hand :icon_rolleyes:

No, it is most certainly not a normal waiting period. At the time of purchase i was told approx one month. But Meade have failed to sent the goods to the UK importers. So i have been constantly in contact with the people i purchased from. And fair duce to them, they havent been blanking me.
