Sun Dogs

Hi all, I think I see sun dog's this evening as the sun sets on a beautiful day in the South West of England.

It does beg the question, 'What were you doing on the Roof Nigella?'

We're on a hillside over looking other house's, lol. Although I have been known to get on scaffolding when doing DIY, lol.

Here is the only one I’ve ever seen (sun on the right, dog on the left). Not as good a photo as Nigella’s. My phone was struggling with the sun fully in shot. I was really surprised by how bright the dog appeared.

Nicely seen Nigella.

I think that they are more common than you might think. I have seen them a fair number of times. There are also many other phenomena of a similar kind to be seen with the right conditions.

I won't usurp your thread with the pic that I got many years ago, I might post it later on a separate thread.

Beautiful susnset.. If you had waited couple more minute you would have get a beautiful Golden Hour....
