Saturn Opposition 2021

Actually, this image was taken a few nights before opposition which was fortunate because clouds and rain prevented me from getting out early this morning. This is one of my best images of Saturn so far, using my 180mm Mak, ASI224MC/Firecapture, processed in Registax 6 with post-processing in Photoshop:

Matches up pretty well with what I saw in my 8" Dob Saturday morning.  I could not detect the lower band or the dark polar cap, though.

Thanks, Rob. I was quite pleased with the result. I was never able to tease out much color in Saturn until I got the 224mc. It's a great little cam!
